How to use Sustainable Supply Chain Finance?

In measuring a company’s sustainability performance, more and more attention is given to its suppliers. By implementing Sustainable Supply Chain Finance, corporates can incentivize and drive improvements among their suppliers. But how do you use the instrument in a strategic way? This roundtable will strive to answer that, and discuss the regulatory challenges and best ways to implement Sustainable Supply Chain Finance.

Tanguy Claquin
Head of Sustainable Banking, Crédit Agricole CIB

Tanguy created and manages the Sustainable Banking team at Crédit Agricole CIB. The team provides financial advisory for transactions targeting both financial objectives and positive social and environmental impacts, in all asset classes. He is also member of GBP Executive Committee since 2014 and a co-chair since 2019. He has been a member of the European Commission Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance and co-drafted the EU Green Bond Standard. 

Frédéric Lelieur
Operations Controller, Nestlé

Frédéric has been Working Capital Controller, for Nestlé Corporate HQ in Switzerland, since 2017 and is responsible for all dimensions of Working Capital optimization of the Group. He also leads the Supply Chain Financing solutions offered by Nestlé. Prior to that Frédéric lead the reorganization of Nestlé Procurement function for Finance and was a member of the Corporate Finance team in Nestlé Treasury. Before Nestlé, Frédéric was a credit rating analyst at Moody’s in the UK.

Before he joined CRX Markets in February 2015, Alexei worked at Goldman Sachs for almost fifteen years in various roles ranging from Debt Capital Markets, Distressed Debt Origination & Structuring and Structured Sales & Solutions. As a Managing Director, he was responsible for the Credit Sales business of Goldman Sachs in Germany and Austria.
