Practical considerations to repurpose Finance as a value-centric function
Worum ging es im Webinar?
Finance professionals are facing some new and some familiar challenges in 2025. Inflationary pressures may have subsided along with a reduction in global interest rates. However, subpar economic growth, continuing geopolitical shocks and ongoing regulatory uncertainty will likely raise concerns for CFOs. Adapting to a low-growth and low-rate environment will be stretch a hurdle for most businesses.
The desire to break the shackles and redefine finance as a pre-emptive, proactive and autonomous function is a vision shared amongst aspirational leaders, though execution has its hurdles. Beyond restricted funds available to invest in people, lack of consensus on where Finance can add business value while still seen as a cost function remain major constraints, alongside limited cultural collaboration and technological inadequacies.
If finance is to morph into a Chief Value and Growth Officer role, its transition is underpinned by providing data that can be trusted and insights derived to a wide array of stakeholders, with clear actions and value-centric performance. The evolution of AI and the potential it offers provides another catalyst for change that CFOs are eager to capitalize on. As the innovation tide swells further and competitive margins are reduced, the need to act swiftly while maintaining transformation control is critical. It’s no surprise that several questions are top of mind of many CFOs:
- How can CFOs rebuild trust in data?
- What is the transformative potential of AI in Finance?
- How can finance leaders become responsible guardians of AI?
- What skills are needed in finance to transition to a more autonomous and value-centric function?
- What does the implementation pathway look like?
In this webinar, we will share perspectives on the questions above and the critical role that data and analytics plays to enable success, and seize upon the possibilities that lie ahead.
